Rapper PnB Rock shot, killed at Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles in South LA

Rapper PnB Rock was shot and killed last night while dining at Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles in South Los Angeles. The 28-year-old, whose real name is Rakim Allen, was reportedly shot multiple times inside the restaurant and pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities are still investigating the shooting and a motive is not yet known. However, some reports suggest that the shooting may have been gang-related. This would not be the first time a rapper has been targeted in a gang-related shooting in Los Angeles; in 2016, rapper Nipsey Hussle was gunned down outside his clothing store in South LA.

PnB Rock’s death is a tragic loss for the hip-hop community and our thoughts are with his family and friends during this difficult time. Rest in peace, PnB Rock. You will be missed.

The shooting was reported at 1:23 p.m. at the restaurant in the 100 block of Manchester Avenue.

Police say the shooting was apparently committed during the course of a robbery.
